Sony Ericsson – C510

That’s the new toy m playing around with…
It’s a sleek Cyber-Shot model, from who else but Sony (http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/home?lc=en&cc=in) …
I owned a Walkman series W580i and so decided to try the cyber-shot series this time round.
So far, the phone’s acting good.. The 3.2 MP digicam does have some nice features like exposure control. The picture clarity is stunning.. Even the night mode snaps look nice.. The USP of the phone, as the company promotes is the “Smile Shutter” :) Kindda makes u smile doesn’t it !! The snaps actually do look smiling types ;)
I haven’t yet been able to figure out whether there is a zoom feature and if it exists, how to use it !
The phone also plays decent music through its music player! The downside though is that it does not catch FM channels..
I also found the start up time for the digicam to be on the slower side.. But then it may be bcoz my 4.2 MP Nikon Digicam has superfast start up..
All in all - the phone’s good. Looks smart, is easy to use (the keys have been reverted to Nokia style ?), has a huge screen, a good sturdy keypad…
Oh… U can also make n receive calls n do sms’ :)
And Now (!) … let me explore some more ;)
